Nishant Kumar Shukla is an accomplished Product Manager with a strong background in Data Science and Design Thinking. He is an alumnus of SIOM (MBA), NIT Raipur (Elect Engg), and IIIT Bangalore (PGD in Data Science). Currently, Nishant is working as an Associate Product Manager at FourKites, where he is leveraging AI/ML to boost customer value and customer experience. Prior to this, he worked with VMware as a Product Manager within Enterprise Data and Analytics and JSW Steel Ltd as a Junior Manager. Nishant is a Certified SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum Master, and holds a Product Management certification from Duke CE. He has a proven track record of leading discovery sessions, creating product roadmaps, and identifying product KPIs to increase product performance. Nishant is skilled in assimilating data and insights from competitive analysis, market research, and win-loss reports to expand the problem space. He has also collected and synthesized customer feedback resulting in new feature offerings and improved overall product usability, navigation, and design. Nishant has collaborated with a team of 20 data scientists to implement multiple machine-learning integrated services. He has built a comprehensive AI-based real-time visibility ETA solution for Ocean freight tracking and managed Sprint ceremonies to effectively implement the Product roadmap and release. Nishant has also managed and created relationships with vendors and partners to build better products. In addition to his professional achievements, Nishant is passionate about Origami and Creative arts. He has been part of SIOM's Alumni committee during his academic tenure.
